DIX HILLS RINK LOCATION

    The ice rinks are located in the Dix Hills Park (opened in 1964), which is on
Vanderbilt Parkway in Dix Hills.  The Park features 152 beautifully
wooded acres, along with a 9 hole golf course, outdoor pool,
summer day camp, picnic area, and a two mile trail.
    The original rink was built in 1974 and was subsequently enclosed years later.
A second ice surface was added along with a building expansion in 2010. The new rink is home to the Dix Hills Mites.
Northern State Pkwy : Take Northern State Parkway to
Exit 42 South (Deer Park Avenue).  Take Deer Park Ave. South
for approx. 1 mile.  At traffic light, make a left onto Vanderbilt
Pkwy.  Proceed approximately 1/2 mile and make a left into the
Park.  Follow signs to the ice rink. 
 
Long Island Expressway : Take Long Island Expressway to
Exit 51 North (Deer Park Avenue). Take Deer Park Ave. North
for approx. 1 mile. At traffic light make a right onto Vanderbilt
Pkwy.  Proceed approx. 1/2 mile and make a left into the Park. 
Follow signs to the ice rink.
